Stillwater Music is a non-profit music school. We offer both group and private lessons to children and adults of all ages. Founded in 2005, Stillwater has been teaching music to people in the Durango, Colorado area for over a decade. Our philosophy is simple: Have fun, learn music, play in a band.


Lisa Blue is a music icon around the Four Corners region performing 50s to 90s style radio friendly pop, country, jazz and rock! Before settling in Durango, Lisa managed a music studio in Hollywood and wrote and performed music for film and television. In Durango, she was part of the Durango Songwriters Rendezvous, the local chapter of The Nashville Songwriters Association, and had a hand in producing The Songwriters Showcase. She’s opened for Ray Price, Marty Stuart and Lyle Lovett at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College and performs around the area with the Lisa Blue Trio. Lisa has also produced her “special” CD created for parents and babies, “Once Upon a Lullaby”.


Rocky Mountain UkeFest kicks off on Thursday, July 12, with a Concert in the Park featuring the Rocky Mountain UkeFest All-Star Band, whose members include Daniel Ward, Victoria Vox, Jason Arimoto, John Bartlitt and Craig McClelland. This event is presented by the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College and Alpine Bank of Colorado in beautiful downtown Durango, in Buckley Park.

Pine River Arts – Where Arts Shine Bright – formed in 2018 with the mission to inspire, enrich and develop the arts in the Pine River Valley and to make Bayfield the one of the most vibrant arts communities in rural Colorado.

The goal of Pine River Arts is to create and promote both performance and educational opportunities in and around the Bayfield area at venues including, but not limited to the Pine River Library, Bayfield Library Park and the Bayfield High School Performing Arts Center as well as Bayfield Town Park.  Partnerships are developing with established community arts organizations in La Plata County to bring programs and performances to Bayfield, Colorado.


 Arts Perspective magazine was published quarterly from 2004-2010 reflecting the diversity of arts and culture throughout the Four Corners region of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. It ceased print publication in 2014.

 Southwest Arts Programs currently provides professionally designed and customized playbills for arts organizations throughout southwest Colorado and northern New Mexico.
